A little about my pregnancy and birth

I had my first baby in December of 2020. I experienced firsthand all the anxieties, stresses, pressures, and physical strangeness of being pregnant and having a baby. My yoga practice helped keep me strong, flexible, calm, and relatively pain-free—including during one phase where I briefly couldn’t walk from sciatic pain. The outer hip strengthening and lower back sequences I teach in this series absolutely saved me, and I was up and mobile until the day I gave birth. My preparation helped me through an induced delivery with minimal pain interventions and I had almost no birth injuries (though I did have some complications I had to deal with afterward!). Postpartum is a journey that continues, but I wouldn’t imagine doing any of it without yoga! This course represents all the knowledge I gained while I was going through what you’re going through now. I am also very open to questions and conversations as you’re going through your experience. Contact me anytime.
